This week: Video Modifications for Pearson Vue Testing
Those of you in Pearson Vue testing states who currently use our skills videos in your training can expect something special this year. Because of customer feedback and requests, we added three videos to specifically address the Pearson Vue requirements and order of steps: positioning a resident on her side; giving a partial bed bath (face, arm, and hand); and changing from gown to shirt for a resident with an affected right arm.
When we made the videos, we hoped they could be used as comprehensive training tools. Our videos are popular with our customers, and we’ve had some very positive feedback on their quality and thoroughness. We’ve also heard from some of our customers in Pearson states that these videos contain extra steps that do not appear in the candidate handbook. These three videos were specifically mentioned as being less than ideal for Pearson tests, so we decided to shoot streamlined versions that follow the steps as they appear in the candidate handbook. Rest assured that the full versions of bathing and dressing a resident will still be available for customers in our non-Pearson states. Stay tuned for more exciting video news!
While not every comment or critique will result in a change, we always welcome your words, questions and feedback. You help make our products the best they can be and we’re always ready to listen. Go ahead: Be heard at Hartman!
